According to an article from GamesIndustry.biz, unconfirmed reports from Japanese retailers have revealed the price of the Nintendo DS to be 19,000 Yen (140 Euro) with a US price of about $180. The DS should hit store shelves in the US on November 11th, one week after the Japan launch. If this plan stays on track, that means that the DS will not only beat Sony's PSP to a US and Europe launch but will signifcantly beat the PSP on price, as well. A perfect holiday gift. I can't wait.
