LB Weekend Report

Happy Saturday! It's time to fill you in on Lunabean happenings. First of all, if you've missed the various links and changes, we launched the LB Video Game and Strategy Guide Store. Every game that we sell comes with a free LB Guide and many come with Free Shipping! In addition to the games, we are offering E-Guides, which can be shipped or E-mailed to you, and a way to Donate (Free Gift, too) if you feel so inclined. But wait! That's not all the news...

Just a few minutes ago I finished the Viewtiful Joe LB Strategy Guide (Purchase Game) (E-Guide) (Downloadable Guide). The PS2 version, which came out August 24 is a port of the Gamecube version which came out last October. I played through the PS2 version and made my already excellent walkthrough even better. The only difference between the games is that in the PS2 version you can unlock Dante from the "Devil May Cry" series. He's actually pretty fun to play with. In further news, Allison is currently playing "Pikmin" in order to get herself ready for "Pikmin 2" (Gamecube, Aug. 30). "Pikmin" is by far one of our favorite games and "Pikmin 2" promises to be even better. As I was playing "Viewtiful Joe" in this room, I could hear the little Pikmin "mews" coming from the other room with the occasional, "Oh crap! Pikmin massacre," as Allison led some Pikmin astray and into the water. Ahh, those crazy Pikmin.

Allison will be writing a LB Strategy Guide for "Pikmin 2" as soon as we get the game on Aug. 30. The refreshing of Pikmin skills should come in handy.

And, finally, we got some new fish. Yes, Sam the Eagle, our Angel Fish, had been alone for quite some time. He now has 6 new friends in the form of 3 Zebra Fish and 3 Headlight/Taillight Neons. Yay!
