Tiger Woods PGA 2005 Goes Gold

Electronic Arts has today announced "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005" has "gone gold" and the master copy is ready for replication. The game is expected to ship on September 20th for the Xbox, PS2, Gamecube and PC, and it will be the first version of the "Tiger Woods PGA" series to take advantage of Xbox Live.
Like previous games in the series, gamers will be able to take on all-time greats of golf including Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, and Ben Hogan. Oddly enough, gamers will also be able to take on fictional characters such as "The Hustler", a character to whom Justin Timberlake has lent both his likeness and his swing.
