Sony's CELL Nearing Completion

Many sources are this morning reporting Toshiba president Tadashi Okamura's announcement that development on the CELL microprocessor is nearing completion. It is the CELL that will be used to power Sony's next-gen console, presumably named the Playstation 3. Okumara said of the new microprocessor, "It will change the world."
