According to
this article from CNNmoney, Microsoft has announced that it sold 2.4 million units of "Halo 2" in its first day. That equals a staggering $125 million, rivaling the weekend earnings of only the largest Hollywood blockbusters, and that was in one day. With sales like that, I would imagine that sales of the Xbox itself are also going through the roof, especially with online play. The dedication of "Halo" fans is amazing with many queing up to 15 hours prior to the midnight launch last Monday at 7,000 retail stores. I imagine there are a lot of sleep-deprived gamers out there right now.
