Sony Computer Entertainment has announced another
Gran Turismo 4 release date delay in both Japan and the US. The highly anticipated racing game, originally slated for release a year ago, has been pushed back to December 28th in Japan (from December 3rd), and sometime between January and March 2005 in the US (from December 14th). A Sony Computer Entertainment America spokesman says of the delay, "Natural challenges with finalizing all the key features and localization issues across worldwide territories have led to the difficult choice of pushing back the release date in order to ensure that Gran Turismo 4 lives up to the exacting standards of the 36 million-plus fans worldwide that have purchased previous versions".
