LucasArts announced late yesterday afternoon that the Xbox version of
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II has "gone gold", as the master copy has been completed and is ready for mass reproduction. The original
KOTOR topped our list of 2003 video games, taught us to love RPGs, and restored our faith in "Star Wars" games, in general. With this being said, we couldn't be more excited to get our hands on this sequel, which is set five years after the events of the original and focuses on the Sith's hunting the Jedi to the edge of extinction. Oh, and
some say it's even better than the original...is it possible? The Xbox version of the game is to be released on December 6th, as the PC version is on track for a February 2005 release.
