Metal Gear Solid 3 Strategy Guide Update

Unlike other games, where we can often write a walkthrough as we go, the Metal Gear Solid games require a full play through before we feel comfortable telling others what it is they should be doing. First, even for those of us who are "experienced gamers", the unique controls take some getting used to, and it's too difficult to play and write under these conditions. Second, MGS games can be played in many ways. You can take out every enemy you come to, you can find ways to evade most of the enemies, you can tranquilize the majority of your enemies, or you can find a happy place in between all of these options. We try to write MGS guides in that happy place, so we have to play through the game to find that happy place.
