Every now and again a PC game will catch our attention. And so it goes with "World of Warcraft". The Blizzard MMORPG has become the fastest selling PC game ever having sold 240,000 copies in its first 24 hours (Nov. 23) and an additional 110,000 since then. I point this out because I find it remarkable that the fastest selling PC game in history pales in comparison to the recent launch of "Halo 2". "Halo 2" sold 2.4 million copies in its first 24 hours...ten times as many as "World of Warcraft". If that's not a statement about the state of PC gaming, I don't know what is. Hey, don't get me wrong, if Ali and I had the time we'd probably pick up a PC game or two.
