Blockbuster to End Late Fees, Be Careful What You Wish For

According to many sources including the Chicago Sun Times, Blockbuster has announced a plan to end late fees on movies and games. They will allow a one week grace period after which they will automatically require you to purchase the movie or game, minus the rental fee. Customers can still return the movie or game within 30 days for a refund (read, store credit) but will be charged a restocking fee. Will there be a backlash? Stay tuned.
