Resident Evil 4 Strategy Guide Update

We had every intention of playing and writing this Resident Evil 4 Strategy Guide as we play and write most of our strategy guides. This is a process which usually entails a good two to three hour sit down with a game to "get to know it", then restart where we begin to write the walkthrough. However, a funny thing happened while playing this latest Capcom release: We simply couldn't put it down.

Both Jeremy and I have been floored by RE4. Perhaps this shock comes from an anticipated disappointment as 2004, (or, as we like to call it, "the year of the crappy sequel"), left a bad taste in our mouths. Perhaps this enthrallment was aided by a weekend ice storm, which left us house bound, creating an even creepier atmosphere for an already creepy-as-all-hell game. Perhaps Capcom actually made one of the best games of all time. Whatever the reason, Resident Evil 4 has struck our fancy to a degree which our fancy hasn't been touched in years. Needless to say, this means we're still playing the game, and not writing the guide. The good news is we expect to complete the game today, which means we'll be ready and able to answer any RE4 questions you may have in our Resident Evil 4 Help Thread. We will also begin the Resident Evil 4 Walkthrough and Strategy Guide tomorrow.
