Studio 360 Reports on Video Games

Yesterday, "Studio 360," a perennial favorite on public radio, aired a great piece on video games called, Players, Military, Super Mario. "Kurt Andersen and Slate journalist Clive Thompson discuss how video games are taking over the world ? from the art scene in New York to the front lines of the war in Iraq." The show is full of interesting points and perspectives including Nick, a wise 12 year old commenting on "social" aspects of gaming, "Most types of kids right now are social gamers. Usually it's the adults that are the crazed addicts who just sit in their basement and play, play, play."
