Nintendo president Satoru Iwata is admitting Nintendo's next generation console, the Revolution, is going to be so far beyond the realm of what gamers and developers believe a console is and should be, that Nintendo is risking the loss of nervous third-party developers.

Kikizo Games, Iwata stated, "If the next generation platforms are going to create even more gorgeous looking games using further enhanced functionality, and if that next-gen market can still expand the games industry, I'm afraid that third-parties may not support Nintendo" . However, with that being said, Iwata goes on to suggest this highly secretive console, which will be revealed at E3, has the potential to attract a whole new audience of gamers.
