Nintendo DS Launches in the UK at Midnight

Thousands of UK gamers are expected to hit the streets late tonight to make their way to a handful of stores offering a midnight launch of the Nintendo DS. The DS is priced at ?99, which, as usual, is more than what Americans paid for the same product. ?99 today is worth about US$190, and the Nintedo DS retails here for US$150, which would be about ?78. I guess that's what you get for living in a beautiful country with a rich history. If you live in the UK and you are looking for a place to purchase your DS, Game stores seem to be your best bet, as they are opening 150 stores across the UK and Ireland for the midnight launch.
