Gamespot is today reporting that the Nintendo Revolution, Nintendo's Next Gen console, will debut in the Summer of 2006. This information was garnered from a transcript of a conference call from Monolithic System Technology Inc., a maker of embedded memory technology. In that transcript, CFO Mark Voll states, "We are excited to be a participating member of the Nintendo team once again, as Nintendo will roll out and success game console to the GameCube in mid-2006." Gamespot guesses that this was mis-transcribed and actually states, "a successor game console...". Either way, it's not definitive, and mid-2006 sounds a lot like a 6 month window to me.
