In this article published on GameSpot, Square-Enix president Yoichi Wada and executive Shinji Hashimoto, answered some loose ends regarding their support of Xbox 360 and other interesting tidbits. One big item is that Final Fantasy XI players who play online on Xbox 360 will be able to play with gamers playing on the PS2 and PC. Also, Final Fantasy XII was not shown at E3 because, "it was simply an issue of timing," said Wada. He went on to say that they'd have a playable version by July. It's no secret that Microsoft needs to make big inroads in Japan with the Xbox 360 and Final Fantasy is just one of the games that will help.
