US House Votes to Probe "GTA: SA"

The US House of Representatives yesterday voted 355-21 to ask the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to investigate Rockstar Games and Take Two Interactive regarding the "Hot Coffee" mod that was found to be on original game discs of the PC and PS2 version of GTA: SA (HR 376, PDF) (Roll Call). I would think that with the ESRB completing their investigation in a timely manner with the AO rating as a result, with a war in Iraq and Afghanistan, with mass transit security to deal with, and the embarrassing lack of health care for kids, that the US House of Representatives would know better than to waste our tax dollars on this issue.
