An Alabama jury yesterday deliberated for just over an hour in handing down their "guilty" verdict of Devin Moore, the then 18 year old who killed two cops and a police dispatcher. Upon his arrest Devin was heard saying, "life is a video game; everybody has to die sometime." This utterance, in conjuction with an admitted obsession with
GTA: III and
GTA: Vice City, was Devin's defense for the original car stealing and successive murders. The defense team argued that Devin was not mentally competent due to his video game playing. The jury would have none of that. Nonetheless, Wal-Mart, Gamestop, Sony, and Take-Two all still have pending civil suits filed against them for being complicit in the murders. Read more in the
