GameSpot is today reporting
that a reworked "M" version of the recalled Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
will be released on August 22. The game was pulled from store shelves on July 22 after it was re-rated to be an "AO" (Adult Only) game due to the over-hyped "Hot Coffee" mod. Most major retailers will not sell AO games. This shows just how quickly a developer can rework a game and get it back to retail, especially when it's the best selling game of the year. Speaking of adult games getting press, the BBC recently wrote an interesting article
regarding a UK study that concluded that "Parents Ignore Game Ratings."
