The reviews of the Game Boy Micro are starting to trickle in, and, unfortunately for Nintendo, they're less than stellar. The common theme of reviewers is summarized nicely by Matt Slagle, an AP tech writer, who states: "But I'm still searching for a compelling reason to spend $99 on this machine, the smallest portable gaming system I've ever used, when Nintendo itself already offers better products for not much more money." After all, the Nintendo DS (with dual screens, a microphone and Wi-Fi capabilities) is now selling for only $30 more than the tiny Game Boy Micro. I still think the GBM is cool, but Nintendo needs to drastically drop the price if they want to sell these puppies. Imagine the stocking stuffer potential if they cost only $29.99.
