Yes, I said "dongle", as that's how the kind people at
GamesIndustry.biz referred to Nintendo's newly announced USB connecter, which will allow those without wireless routers to turn their broadband enabled PCs into Nintendo DS hotspots.
The dongle news came from the DS Conference 2005 in Japan, and seemed to only reference Japanese and European launches of the device, which will be released this fall, alongside the release of
Mario Kart DS. At this point I am without confirmation of a US release, but I can't imagine Nintendo would keep this from us.
