J. Allard, the shiny headed, infinitely charasmatic, and fairly ubiquitous Xbox VP has spoken out about the
Nintendo Revolution Controller. According to
this article from Gamesindustry.biz, J. Allard is not a big fan of the Revolution Controller, specifically citing racing and sports games when saying, "I don't think most Electronic Arts games are going to be played with that thing." Agreed. Allard goes on to say that he had an idea for a similar controller a few years ago but that after extensive testing with gamers and developers, he dropped the idea.

According to the article, Allard did have some praise for Nintendo: "He went on to praise Nintendo for its innovation, suggesting that Microsoft might also consider producing a simplified controller in the future".
The article goes on to report Allard's reasoning behind the two levels of Xbox 360 (Core System and Harddrive version), which essentially boils down to "let the consumer decide".
