In yesterday's CNNMoney's
GameOver Column, Chris Morris interviews Nintendo executive vice president of sales and marketing, Reggie Fils-Aime, about the Nintendo Revolution, their entry into the next-gen console arena due to launch sometime next year. We already know that Revolution will not be HD compatible and that the
controller will be akin to a remote. We could also have guessed that the Revolution will be cheaper than the Xbox 360 and PS3. Nonetheless, Fils-Aime does have some interesting things to say, for example, mistakes that were made with the GameCube, "With GameCube, at the time, portability was thought to be a big factor - that's why it has a handle. Obviously, that wasn't the case." If you want to know the direction Nintendo is heading, this is a good summary article for you to read.
