Flickr Photoset depicting graffiti images of the Sony PSP from several cities across the US (LA, New York, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Chicago) have many wondering if Sony is paying for an underground (and illegal) PSP campaign. A great thread over at
1Up has many details, along with an e-mail written to
PopGadget where an angry neighbor writes, "Is anyone else concerned that Sony Playstation paid someone to vandalise our neighborhood to sell its latest toy, the PSP?".
Eurogamer also has an interesting article, which points to a photo and caption over at
WoosterCollective that reads, "The photo above, taken in Philidelphia, shows a dude hired by Sony (or their ad agency). Using a set of prints that the company has sent him, he's copying the images from the campaign onto the wall."
