The NY Times has gotten into the gaming spirit and has published an article detailing what to do if you weren't able to get an Xbox 360. In Seth Schiesel's article, "
Alternative Rx for Xbox Fever" (Free Sub. Req.), he explains how the current generation of consoles still have a lot of life left in them and how the Sony PSP is the second best gaming gift to receive. He also goes on to explain some of the key features of the Xbox 360 (making you want it more, of course), and that Microsoft may yet surprise us with a, "boatload of additional 360's in the next few weeks," although I find that hard to believe (and so does the author, for that matter). Anyway, if you're relatively new to gaming or you're a parent or grandparent at a loss for what to get for the gamer(s) in your family, this is a good read.
