Anti-video game activist Jack Thompson has temporarily haulted his attacks on the entire video game industry to focus on the Florida Bar Association, with his domain registration of TheFlaBar.org. Thompson is using the site as a launch pad for attacks on the FBA.
Thompson and the FBA have always had a tumultuous relationship. However, this most recent episode, and the reason Thompson is presumably taking such action now, cpncerns the FBA's current investigation into Thompson's behavior in Strickland v. Sony, where the Alabama judge felt the need to kick Thompson off the case and revoked his temporary license to practice law in Alabama.

Instead of dealing with the investigation as a grown up, Thompson is playing the victim and making outrageous accusations on his new site. While GamePolitics.com has some juicy snippets, it does seem Thompson has rewritten parts of his statement to not appear so insane. However, according to GamePolitics, this little number was posted on the site earlier:

The Florida Bar, upset with (my) successes, literally tried to pathologize my Christian faith. The Bar failed... The Bar's appalled insurer paid me money damages for this Taliban-like mentality by The Bar. The Bar never got over being hammered by me.

Again, this statement no longer appears on the site, but the tone remains the same.

Does anyone else get the feeling Thompson was beat up in elementary school and never got over it? I sure do. Such anger for a legitimate investigation.
