According to the letter written by Thompson, 25 to Life (Eidos' entry into the GTA genre) is a dangerous "public nuisance", therefore making it legal (California Civil Code Section 3495) for police officers (without warrants) to enter video game stores, pluck copies of the game from the shelves, and destroy them. Unfortunately for Thompson, what he defines as a "public nuisance" is not what our courts (nor rational people) define as a "public nuisance", making his letter, his proposal, and his promised campaign on public airwaves in California, nothing short of silly.
