Opera Software has today announced a deal with Nintendo which will allow gamers in Japan to surf the internet via the Nintendo DS using the Opera browser. The browser will be sold as a DS cartridge which gamers can insert into their Wi-Fi enabled DSes, then connect to the network and surf away...using both screens of the handheld console, of course. Opera's press release provided no details on a Japanese release date, nor mention of a North American launch.
