'Driver: Parallel Lines' Soundtrack Revealed

Atari, Inc. has today revealed the first details of its soundtrack for the upcoming "Hollywood-style action-driving blockbuster" Driver: Parallel Lines (aka Driver 4). The game that will play through two eras in New York City has focused its soundtrack on New York music scene of the 70s and the here and now, and will include original exclusive material by Public Enemy, Grandmaster Flash, Suicide, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Arthur Baker, Mylo, Paul Oakenfold, Lifesavas featuring Vernon Reid and the Audio Bullys.

Leading in the 70s will be David Bowie, the Stranglers, Blondie, Iggy Pop, WAR, The Temptations, Funkadelic, Marvin Gaye, Parliament, and Average White Band (plus, I heard some Stanglers over on the Driver: Parallel Lines website). As for the here and now music, expect to hear from The Roots, LCD Soundsystem, TV on the Radio, Kaiser Chiefs, Secret Machines, and The Dead 60's.

Driver: Parallel Lines ships on March 14 for the Xbox and PS2.

Driver: Parallel Lines Soundtrack Revealed
