Joystiq is reporting that Sony have scheduled a Press Conference for this Wednesday, March 15 (the Ides of March!), in order to discuss the PS3. Things haven't been going well for the PS3 with rumors that it may not even make a holiday launch window due to the fact that there are still manufacturing snafus (Blu-Ray drives and cell processors don't grow on trees). Another key bit of info is that venerable developer Square-Enix has yet to receive final hardware specs. What will the press conference cover? Maybe nothing, maybe everything. We'll have to wait and see if a delay will become official, thus making life a lot easier for the X360. We'll update you after the press conference.
