Game Over Column, has some interesting predictions regarding this year's Electronic
Entertainment Expo (E3): Nintendo will reveal the official name of the Revolution and the final secret about the system, but will not reveal pricing or a release date. Sony will not reveal the price of the PS3. Microsoft will focus on the gaming aspects of its new Vista operating system while showing the first footage of
Halo 3. What I find interesting is that Microsoft gets to focus on software while the others focus on hardware. For the first time, Microsoft isn't playing catch up and is, in fact, a year ahead of the competition. With the Revolution shaping up to be a huge hit and speculation that the PS3 will be expensive, it'll be interesting to see how Sony fares this time around. E3 begins on May 10 and we'll be covering all of the big (and little) news.
