'Indigo Prophecy (Farenheit)' was one of those games that gets better the longer you're away from it. That's why I was excited to hear that there is going to be a sequel to the game, 'Heavy Rain'. In the following video, played on a PS3, you'll get to watch a virtual casting call for the game. This fits into the 'Indigo Prophecy' mold. If you recall, the game starts with writer/director David Cage taking you through the tutorial in a studio, complete with a green screen. This same meta-reality is offered in the trailer for 'Heavy Rain'.

'Indigo Prophecy' is also known for its life-like graphics/animations and you can see that the developers are striving for even more realism in 'Heavy Rain'. It's still early in the process, but the lip movements of the character just aren't there yet. If this bothers you, you're not alone. As Joystiq points out, you're experiencing the theory of "Uncanny Valley". And you thought you wouldn't learn something today.
