Thanks to Game Daily for pointing out and confirming the rumor that the Nintendo Wii games being shown at E3 were actually running inside of GameCubes. Prior to confirmation from Nintendo PR that the Wii hardware exhibited at E3 was made only for E3 and some of the hardware was encased in GameCube housing, rumors were flying around that Nintendo had duped everybody and had really just been running GameCube hardware. The obvious conclusion to all of this is that if the final production version wasn't shown at E3, then the poor graphics that everybody pointed out may not be that bad afterall.
