The game, which is built on a "heavily modded" version of the "Doom 3" engine, features unique moves which allow Tommy to manipulate gravity, walk on walls, and exit his body to sneak up behind enemies or make it through obstacles ("Spirit Mode"). However, the feature I'm most excited for is "Death Walking". See, in the Cherokee world, one doesn't die when one's health meter runs out. Instead, one must fight through wraiths and spirits to regain to fill that meter back up and come back to the world of the living...to fight through aliens.
The "Prey" demo was supposed to arrive on Xbox Live on Friday, but never showed up (perhaps Tommy is currently fighting the wraiths so he can appear on my Xbox). However, if you're a PC gamer, you can finc the demo on the official "Prey" website.
"Prey" will arrive in North America on July 11th and in Europe on July 14th. We expect to be writing a "Prey" strategy guide when it comes to town.
