A demo of 'Saint's Row', THQ's 'Grand Theft Auto', is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace. The free download is 900 MB and I've been waiting over two hours for it thus far. Currently at 85% complete, I'm sure to get some 'Saint's Row' action soon. According to the press release, the demo offers, "hours of open-world gameplay" and gives "an introduction to the game's intense single-player campaign, revealing a first-look into the in-depth character customization, detailed graphics, over-the-top gameplay and gripping storyline." I'll update this story after I've played it.

UPDATE: Is it just me or *yawn* are GTA-esque games becoming really boring? I think you can only play so many of these games before you just get sick of the genre. That being said, the game is solid and does offer some things that GTA doesn't, namely online play, which isn't a part of the demo. I'll give it another try to see if it lures me in.
