As part of a PR blitz to hype people up for the third season of "Battlestar Galactica", the Sci-Fi Network will soon be offeringing Xbox Livers the opportunity to download a special episode of the show from Xbox Live Marketplace.

The episode, titled "Battlestar Galactica: The Story So Far", provides the the storyline of the Peabody Award winning series so far (hence, the name). The show will be airing on NBC Universal stations, which includes Bravo, USA, and, of course, the Sci-Fi Channel. It will also be aired on West Coast affiliates of NBC. And, finally, it will become downloadable on the Xbox Live Marketplace. At this time, we do not have a date, download size nor a price for the first full-length show to be made available on Xbox Live. However, since it's part of a PR campaign, the show is expected to be free.

While I have never watched the show, I've heard great things, and I'm just dying to know what this "shocking cliffhanger" that ended the second season is all about. Count me in!
