Word came out today that 'Zelda: Twilight Princess' will have more Wii functionality than was originally planned. In the Japanese magazine, "Nintendo Dream", Nintendo Pres., Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed that the player will be able to swing the Master Sword with the Wii controller. Prior to this announcement, the plan was to swing the sword with the "B-Button". This freeing up of the "B-Button" has also improved the Bow-and-Arrow action, meaning that you can now hit the "B-Button" to fire your arrow after you have drawn the bow with the Wii controller. Finally, what I find most interesting, is Miyamoto's announcement that Nintendo may retrofit some Gamecube games for use with the Wii controller. Obviously, the Zelda series pops to mind, but how much fun would a Pikmin game be with the new remote? Ow-wowee-wow.
