If you're not in the video game biz, then you probably don't know that the Games Convention, an annual trade show, is currently in progress in Leipzig, Germany. This is actually quite a big event, especially for European gamers, and is a place where new products and big announcements are made. So far, we don't have anything earth shattering, but rather, a few interesting bits of info have come out.
In the Nintendo camp, Nintendo have announced two games for the Wii: "Mario Strikers Charged" (working title) and "Battalion Wars II" (BWii, if you think about it).
In the Xbox camp, Microsoft revealed several peripherals and confirmed the release of the Xbox Live Vision Camera for the US on September 19. The new peripherals are a wireless steering wheel, a wireless headset, and an Xbox 360 controller for the PC.
In the Playstation camp, Sony have finally relented and reduced the price of the PS3 to $299. Just kidding! It'll still cost you your first born, the blood of a virgin, and a pinch of saffron (although you can pre-order it with just the pinch of saffron).
