Games for Girls More of a Focus?

Wonderland Blog has an interesting observation regarding games for girls. Judging from this week's top 10 PC games, Alice points out that 5 of the games are girl friendly, the most overt of which is 'Nancy Drew: Danger by Design', which is the #3 best seller. Alice went back in time to the August 2004 charts and noted that there were 4 girl-friendly games. Granted, the majority of these girl-friendly titles are part of 'The Sims' franchise, but nonetheless, we're sure to be seeing more games aimed at girls as developers and publishers are finally waking up to the fact that girls play games too.

With that being said, Allison is currently beginning work on a LB 'Nancy Drew: Danger by Design' Walkthrough and Strategy Guide. Stay tuned for more info.
