Via BoingBoing, this amazing video of 'Quake 3' rocket jumping (using the rocket launcher, aimed at the ground or a building to propel you) is worth watching for at least 5 of the 20 minutes. The skill required by the player to not only time the jumps, but to set up jumps in advance by firing rockets a great distance is simply awe inspiring. Sure, this guy could have learned to play the piano or crafted a work of fine art, but instead, he spent countless hours perfecting rocket jumping for our pleasure. Bravo and well done!
