Toys "R" Us has unveiled their "hot toy" list (story
) and the Nintendo Wii has made the cut. It's the first time a video game console has made the list. The reasoning, of course, is price ($250) and the fact that Nintendo has many kid-friendly franchises like Donkey Kong, Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon. Putting the Wii on the list also means that Toys "R" Us expects to get enough Wiis to not anger the general public. Personally, I think they're going to be hard to get a hold of, even with 1 million ready at launch.
