According to
Eurogamer.net, SCE Worldwide Europe VP Jamie MacDonald believes that Europeans continued support of delayed consoles and games proves that they really don't mind getting these consoles and games months after those in the US and Japan.
"If we were sitting here in five years' time, I don't think we'd really think about or notice that PlayStation 3 was four or five months later in Europe," MacDonald says."European consumers have shown that historically they don't mind [the delays], because they end up buying as many PlayStations, if not more, than the US and Japan."

So, if you're in Europe and you're reading this, and you think you're a little ticked about the recently announced
PS3 European delay came out, don't worry about it. You're not ticked. You're actually quite OK with it. Oh, and the
angry-gamer isn't really angry. Everything is just fine. Except for the fact the Sony just told you that they don't mind giving you the finger, because you still give them money.
Someone needs to tell the people at Sony to keep their mouths shut until the PS3 launches, because they just keep digging themselves deeper and deeper.

Of course Europeans are angry and of course Europeans constantly get the shaft with game and console releases. The point is that Sony basically said "screw you".
