Rockstar has released its debut trailer for the recently announced title "L.A. Noire". While I admit it's beautiful (in both sight and sound) it really doesn't give us much beyond what we already know. But, that's usually the situation with a "debut trailer".

In case you don't know the story, "L.A. Noir", which is being developed by Team Bondi (a new studio founded by Brendan McNamara of "The Getaway" fame), is set in 1940s L.A. and requires gamers to solve an "open-ended" series of gruesome murders in a film noire environment.

Before you get too excited about the title, you should know it's a PS3 exclusive.
