Sometimes a story slips through the cracks and is tragically missed by the Lunabean news team. This is one of those times.
On September 14th
GameSpot reported that Valve and Majesco Entertainment had announced an agreement which would allow Valve to distribute a number of Majesco's PC games via
Steam, Valve's digital download distribution system. At the time of the announcement, Majesco's 'Advent Rising', 'BloodRayne', and
'BloodRayne 2' were immediately ready to download. In addition to these big titles, Steam and Majesco promised that 'Psychonauts' would arrive early this month.

If you have not experienced 'Psychonauts' yet, this is the perfect time. Created by Tim Schafer (of 'Grim Fandango' and 'The Secret of Monkey Island' fame), 'Psychonauts' was one of the most critically acclaimed titles of 2005 (and the best platformer to come to the Xbox). However, due to a poor advertising and marketing campaign (along with a few financial woes for Majesco), the game fell under the radar of most gamers. I guess you could say that 'Psychonauts' was 2005's
'Beyond Good and Evil'.
I can only hope Steam will help get this awesome title to more gamers, as the game deserves to be played.
