I was very excited at the beginning of this week when one of them told me that pre-orders may begin on Friday. That is today.
I called today and they said that pre-orders will begin tomorrow. Please check with your local Game Crazy as it is apparently store-by-store. Game Crazy Wii, here I come!

Game Crazy called about an hour ago and said that they were taking pre-orders tonight as well. I went straight over and ended up being #27.
I think they called people who had a Wii game reserved, and probably did it in the order of when said game was reserved.
Anyway, I'm fairly confident that they'll get at least 27 units, so I think I'm in the clear.
Less than a month!

Preordered have been going on since the Tikey entered our computer on Thursday morning. Also I hope they told you which shipment you were in when they took your preorder because some stores are getting 6 like mine some are getting 30.

Hi Mike,
Glad to hear from you. Forest Park? Where is that? I know Portland has a Forest Park, but I'm not aware of any Game Crazy's in it. Just mostly lots of trees.
Anyway, no, the store clerk didn't tell me what shipment I'm in.
I'd been calling each day this week and on Thursday they told me to call back on Friday, so they were either lying or just didn't know until Friday.

I live in Tigard, about 1/3rd of a mile from GameCrazy. I called them this morning about noon and asked if they were taking preorders for the Wii. The guy told me that they were starting tomorrow (Sat, the 21st). So I confirmed the time the store opened with him, and I'm just about to go to sleep so I can be up and outside the store about 8am. Here's to hoping that I get my hands on one, because I'm not really looking forward to camping out in front of Toys'R'Us next weekend with probably 50 other people!

Hi Korby. Allison and I will be driving by that Game Crazy in about 10 minutes. It'll just be opening its doors at that point. I'll wave.
