I picked up my copy of 'Gears of War' about a half hour ago. To save time, I ran out while there were biscuits in the oven. Now that Allison and I are fed, I'll be starting the LB 'Gears of War' walkthrough and strategy guide as soon as I publish this post...in other words, in five...four...three...

The walkthrough is currently "in progress". I got to Raam last night and that's where I stopped for the day.

I'll be working on Raam this morning, so check back later today for an update.

nice job, but instead of grenands on RAAM use the torque bow, much easier

Hi Todd,

Yeah, I've been messing around with the torque bow/sniper rifle method with varied success. I've uploaded my latest strategy, so the Raam section that you read is now different.

I'm playing on Hardcore, although I don't think that makes much of a difference, other than Raam is slightly harder to kill.

is the active reload on a timer or is the blinking to show which bullets are given damage boost.

Okay I'm stuck on RAAM. To get the bow, I quit the game like you said, reloaded by going to continute campaign (there is no option to reload a specific level). And once I started the level there was no bow. Can somebody please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

i have just been on GEARS OF WAR and i stormed off becaus i carnt kill ram. i thinck i have a way to kill him it is to waight until all the krill are away from him then unleash hell so far i hav not been able to do this so if anyone has any other stratgies i whould be greatfull

In the begining of the came I chose to play the tutorial. I went up to the second floor from there I proceeded to a room. From there I proceeded via the balcony to the door with the 2 circuit breakers I was told to destroy the circuit breakers and the door would open. It didn't. Could you give me advice on how to open the door. Thank You.

I'm sorry guys, but if it takes hours upon end on a boss when you know how to beat him and it doesn't work it's just ridiculous. Wow, the game has good graphics(it's 2007 and it's expected). The gameplay is TRASH!!! I've never been this disappointed than with this game. Hardly any character story and the zooom. What ZOOM. The worst longshot gun ever made for a game. I wish that I never played it. Dont even have the desire to beat it anymore. This is all on casual. As I stated before this game is TRASH!!!

yeah.. blow this noise. I've played dozens of shooters with no difficulty, but i hate it when devs think that reloading dozens of times to kill a gimmicky boss counts as good game play. what went wrong, Epic? the game kicked ass until the lousy ending. i've got better things to do than kick myself in the nads trying to finish Raam - and forget about selling me a copy of GoW2.
