Okay, enough of that. It's PS3 launch eve!!! I'll be heading out later today to snap pictures of the lines that have formed at various stores in our area. I'll post the pics here later today, so check back. Stay safe and stay warm, you campers!

Best Buy: We drove by at 7:30 pm. There were about 100-150 people across the parking lot from the entrance. The first three pics are from Best Buy but don't do it justice. The people there were waiting for 10:00 pm, when the store closed, to make a mad rush to the front door in order to get their places in line. You can see the many problems with this method, right?

Meanwhile, the local Fred Meyer stores (like a super wal-mart) have evolved to the point of actually being civilized. Tomorrow at 6:45 am they are handing out raffle tickets. At 7:00 am they will hold the drawing. Those lucky few (it looks like they have about 4/store) will be able to buy a PS3.

Circuit City was quiet. It was the only place where we saw tents. There were about five tents set up, but little movement.

Target had about 8 people waiting outside. My guess is that they were told how many consoles they had and those eight are it.
