In 1993, the Atari Jaguar was positioned to blow the competition out of the water. With a household name, a history in gaming, cutting edge technology, and commitments for a ton of developers there was no way the Jaguar wouldn't succeed. So, um, anybody actually remember having one?
I mention this because Allison pointed out to me this article on AtariAge which simply describes the downfall of the Jaguar and thus, Atari. See any similarities between it and Sony? Granted, Sony is more than just a gaming company, but history does have a way of repeating itself.
