Nintendo today announced that it has a recall in effect for 3.4 million Wii Remote wrist straps. If you don't know, over-excited gamers have been swinging their Wii remotes a little to raucously, sometimes causing the strap to break. You can check out videos and pics of such incidents on wiihaveaproblem.com.

If you want a new, thicker strap then you can fill out this form. Wiis which shipped in early December already have the new strap. Kudos to Nintendo for sucking it up and taking care of this.
