A few weeks ago, Nintendo announced Wii Play, a specially packaged Wii Remote that comes bundled with 9 minigames which can be played solo or with a friend. The original date for the launch in the US was to be January 15. Now, that date has been pushed back to February 12.

Getting hold of a Wii Remote these days is pretty tough and I'd bet that it's the shortage of Wii Remotes that is causing the delay for Wii Play. Hey, a month delay isn't that big of a deal. I just wish Nintendo would release Wii Play for download for a few bucks.

wii play was a launch title in the uk so i had to get that as they had no remotes on there own but it is worth the money it is great fun and even my mother and father play it. shame is is it stops me playing zelda and red steal.
